The KBAC is building a demonstration garden at the Kawai Nui Neighborhood Park in Kailua. This project will provide a shoreline landscape and garden design that is not only attractive but also provides effective sediment and runnof conltrol measures. Also, while the garden is being built, students from neighborhood schools will be building a 'virtual park' for the internet. This project will provide 'hands on' water quality education for Hawaii's residents.
