This area is particularly susceptible to erosion by beachgoers attempting to climb the bluff. Through replanting the bluff, installation of educational signs, and enlisting support from beachgoers, the student project is intended to reduce erosion and improve the survival of this new native plant community.
This educational project teaches integrated approaches to land use and water resource management through erosion control, and how native plant revegetation can improve water quality.

Please call Kekai Irwin for more information about this project.
